Buffalo Wild Wings

In Albuquerque we recently got a Buffalo Wild Wings; I am sad to say the Albuquerque affect has taken hold of this location. What I mean by this is that many times when a franchise brings a location to Albuquerque it is better elsewhere. I love Albuquerque, but certain things like most franchises are better elsewhere. When you walk into Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW), the waiting area is small and poorly designed to manage the large groups that cannot get enough of that place. It's very loud so if you want to talk to the people you came to eat with you need to shout a bit. The lay out is about 45% bar area, 50% sit down dining, and 5% waiting area. The restrooms are cramped and messy.

The staff is clueless and inattentive if you ever find a table to sit at or get seated don't expect to get what you ordered correct the first time or quickly. When I ordered I asked for a side salad with romaine lettuce. The server cocked his head to the side and had a quizzical look like I was from another planet. His response to my order was, "Do we have that kind of lettuce?" He had never heard of romaine lettuce. So I then proceeded to explain to him that I wanted the Caesar salad lettuce for my side salad with Italian dressing. Their first attempt I get a side salad with iceberg lettuce. I ask the server for the salad that I ordered. We get the wings that we ordered and the salad comes out at the end of the meal, but now I get a Caesar salad with Caesar dressing. My friends said, "Dude they won't get it right." So I ate the salad that I did not order. The wings have a tendency to come out cold or not as hot as fresh food, which makes me believe the food sits around after being cooked for awhile. The wing flavors are OK. Wing Stop is better, but did not fair too well in Albuquerque due to their inability to get a liquor license. The beer selection here is marginal at best. You eat off of all disposable utensils so the carbon foot print made by this place will be fairly large. We ordered blue cheese and ranch with our wings, but only get the ranch. The lackluster staff took more than 10 minutes just to get us the blue cheese dressing so my warm hot wings become cold hot wings.

I've been to BWW in a few different cities and this is the worst one by far. I would give BBW in Albuquerque one out of five stars.
