Village Pizza In Corrales

Recently I went to a pizza joint, Village Pizza in Corrales. I have posted a link to another review in case anyone reading this needed directions or a second opinion. This place has a nice cozy ambiance, but your eating pizza off a paper plate that is reinforced with a washable plastic frame. This place has it's fair share of quirks, but what do you expect from a place in Corrales? You get a discount if you ride your bike or horse to eat there and it's an old home that was converted to a restaurant. They are not a pizza sweat shop so don't be in a hurry if you plan to eat there.

The beer and wine selection is fairly impressive for a little place like this. From what I recall, the beer tap selections include Fat Tire and Bridge Port IPA. They have a variety of crust options; for instance, whole wheat crust, if any of you are looking to get more fiber in your diet. The toppings for your pizza are very generous. My only gripes about the place are the ranch and the silver dollar sized ham. The ranch is bad because it seems like you can taste the mayonnaise and the silver dollar ham is unnatural and does not belong in the company of the other tasty toppings. My personal favorite is their version of a meat lover's pizza on wheat crust with the "Dust Devil," which is a spicy seasoning. I would give this place three and a half stars out of five.
